    Good morning @cupcake88. 🙂

You can ask for an extension to return it if you don't feel you have enough time to fill it out and get everything together. If you send any evidence at a later date be sure to include a note saying what it is and include your full name and national insurance number on every page. Will you have any support filling out the review form?

You can request a paper based assessment, but there is no certainty they will grant it. It would carry more weight if a professional such as a mental health team or GP wrote to support the need for paper based assessment.

Unfortunately, there's exceptionally long delays with review decisions and many people are waiting anything up to a year, sometimes longer for a decision.

I returned my form at end of November last year and I'm still waiting for a decision. Your current award will continue until a decision is made.

I think my award ends in June next year if I still haven’t had my review by then will they still pay me after June or will they just owe it to me

Your award will continue as normal until a decision is made. If the decision hasn't been made by the time your award is due to end they will extend the award for up to 1 year. You will receive a letter to confirm this when the time comes.

Hi @cupcake88 - how are you? It's lovely as ever to hear from you ❤️

You should get at least a week's notice for an assessment. Unfortunately reviews are taking some time, as there's quite a backlog, so you might not get an assessment soon. After your assessment report is returned to the DWP it will be up to 12 weeks before you may get a decision.

hi every one so I’m in panic I posted my review on the 30 th of September it’s due by the 15 th of October I received a letter today dated the 3 rd of October asking me to send my review do you think they just didn’t receive it ?

Please try not to panic that letter you received has most likely cross posted with you returning the form. These are automatically generated if they haven't received the form by a certain date.

It can often take a couple of weeks for letters to be uploaded onto the system. They've most likely received it by now but you can ring to check if you would like to.

Hey @cupcake88 as Poppy has said, this can often happen as forms may not have been uploaded on time and the letters are automatically sent out. So I'd try not to worry. 😊

hi every one if my review did get lost in the post or didn’t make it to them in time would my money stop what would happen my moneys due in 2 weeks

If that happened then the money could stop. But it should be quickly reinstated again by calling PIP. I had to ask someone else to call PIP on my behalf when it happened to me but they said it was easy to do.

This was something proposed by the previous government cupcake. The current government have said nothing about this proposal. The closest we get to that is a statement from Stephen Timms saying that the consultation the previous government started received mostly negative responses, though we've not seen the full results published yet.

hi every one thank you I have another question I can’t cope to wait for the phone to be answered makes me anxious. But I’m worried they haven’t received my form if they haven’t received it will they write to me or will they just stop my pip

Hey @cupcake88, they often send a text to confirm forms have been received. How long has it been since you sent them out?

You can write to them again, or have someone call them on your behalf possibly?
