Nightcity, did you know we can have 7 year cycles of depression? A major crash at around 42/43?
I certainly did and can see a pattern in my breakdowns over the years (me 1999 2006 2011 and more before those)

Sorry you're struggling with that black dog @Nightcity but it's good you have some coping mechanisms in place at least. Please we're all here for you whenever you need us.

@Catherine21 you're in for a treat with The Substance. Easily my favorite film of the year!

It's good to be back @Nightcity I weirdly missed all of you 'orrible lot. ๐โค๏ธ
It's a very silly ending, very Cronenberg, but so so good. It had that proper 80s body horror feel to it and Demi Moore was amazing in it.

Tales of the unexpected
I used to watch those - short enough for my attention span ๐

@Strawberry1 I'm glad you are ok I had an anxious moment at lunchtime because someone put the ยฃ2 towards my lunch today at Costas but I had the money I just didn't want to use any notes or ยฃ2 coin because I thought I had another ยฃ1 but I didn't I had 2 ยฃ2 and the barista who took payment it was her first shift and I was just expecting her to help me count my change but she just stood there.

I hope everyone is doing ok in this discussion today. I won't tag everyone, just in case people are still sleeping, or having a nap. ๐

Hello everyone, I wasn't on much yesterday after the bit of morning conversations . I had something I had to attend too. Unfortunately I came down with a headache that I couldn't shake off . Wishing everyone a reasonable day today. Please take care of yourselves everyone and please be kind to yourselves too. The headache seems to have gone . As a rule I sort out things for Sunday dinner that's what on the agenda for today . A bit of a nap and then before I know it it's tea time and tv time . I will probably be hit and miss today. Just look after yourselves.

Mine (not Sertraline) suit me well in that they stop me crying uncontrollably. They aren't easy to reduce or stop but they allow me to function. I had to increase my meds by 50% when I was bereaved and messed about by DWP so I'm unlikely to ever manage without them.
Whether my meds be should be changed for the ASD diagnosis is something I've put off exploring.
In DWP terms, PTSD is a "common" (mild) mental health condition. We know it isn't mild but fluctuating and mine is still unmanageable under stress.
