    Catherine21 great to hear from you! How are you getting on my lovely? ❤Thank you for your help.

    I'm on nothing and it's not possible for me to get anything as I have a mortgage. I'm expected to work, it's not possible for me to get help of any kind, all anyone will do is threaten me for money because I've missed bills. I've had this ongoing problem for 25 years. My parents brought me up to 'home own or I'm a waster' (it was the 80s!) so that's what I tried to do. Worst thing I could ever have done, awful situation, the place is falling apart and I can't afford to fix it - I only got running water in the summer! I have no rights and no sympathy because I 'own a property' (I don't, the bank does, and it's virtually uninhabitable, my living standards are worse than a tent - then they'll take it in tax if I manage to pay for it anyway); I'd love ANY of those Political bigwigs to come and stay at mine for a week and then tell me how disabled people should work and stop spongeing. I'm the living proof, IT DOESN'T WORK!! Anyone out there feeling bad about claiming anything - DON'T. If you try to do what they want they disown you anyway. I was offered to register disabled in my twenties for physical reasons rather than the disability I now know I have (so in fact I have two!), but I turned it down because of the stigma and my upbringing being in the same vein as political views - 'stop being pathetic and feeling sorry for yourself and get on with it'. More fool me. I guess I thought I'd manage because I was young and optimistic and I didn't know how cr*p life can be and how much harder it gets with age.

    You can apply online now you could get copies of your medical notes through doctors request for a SARS form you can go back years speak to your doctor that's how I ended up claiming I walked out of a job and I knew I wasn't well enough to work I'd look at googling how to apply for pip any questions poppy amazing if you was going to do it really think about it don't suffer alone xx

    That means SOOO much right now Catherine21 ❤ I did an online 'are you entitled to benefits' assessment last week and it said 'no'. But I will Google PIP and see if it can throw a lifeline. Thanks even just for being there - I have no friends or support network, I only saw people at work (and they were mostly horrible!) so your messages mean alot ❤

    thanks @Bluebell21 for always caring,hope you're ok.

    hey @eeL bless you, you really do deserve so much better in life.

    This morning mum was awarded LCWRA unexpectedly and also her pip has been enhanced this week, due to how ill I now am and the desperation to live in peace, alongside this helpful development for mum, ss ashamed as I am, I've reluctantly finally accepted the offer for her to look after me, so won't when asked be claiming UC.

    I just can't live my already pointless existence with an axe over my head worrying about white papers and assessments and all the rest of it.

    sorry I'm not around much at the moment I need to get back on track all round, my prostate disease has rocketed off on Wednesday I urinated an insane 27 times, I've asked the GP to consider removing my prostate despite it not being cancer, I think ten years is More than enough.

    hey @Catherine21 @Strawberry1 and @Agnia

    hope you're all hanging in there

    I miss all 5 of you 💜💛

    @Nightcity

    So pleased to hear your mum got LCWRA and also had her pip increased.

    That must be a huge relief.

    Very sorry to hear of your struggling with health etc.

    Best wishes and take care.

    Hey Nightcity I'm so sorry things are so rough - I hope you can focus on the small positives about the payments. Please don't you EVER be ashamed to need help!!! You would (and do) do the same for any of us and your mum, you are a legend and you give so much, and I know you would give more if you'd been blessed with excellent health and the fact that you haven't been is NOT YOUR FAULT. You owe no shame or apology to anyone for being in a situation life has thrown at you, I'm sure it will make your mum happier to know she can care for you and make sure you're ok. You have each other and the love between and that is a tremendous, strong thing - I wish I had that with MY mother! I think anyone in your position would have had enough of it, but PLEASE, please don't look on your existence as pointless because I am one of many on here for whom life would be far worse without Nightcity in it and you make such a difference even just being here! Look how missed you are when you don't post!! You mean alot to us, you do much to cheer others and support them even putting your own troubles away for those who need a friendly word, and that means there is TOTALLY a point to your existence for so many of us. So you weed 27 times - must be annoying but it says nothing about you as a person or takes anything away from your value in the world or how much we love you. We all have crosses to bear, you more than most, but you are loved at home and here and have so much to give. You're one of life's superstars! And there are too few already.

    Hope the GP can help. As an anxious person I totally get that some decisions are best made just for peace of mind because I'm someone who'd rather have nothing than have something and live under the threat of having it taken away. When I was younger I had a boyfriend who always used to say to me, 'If you don't…..I'll dump you'. After about a month of jumping through hoops, treading on eggshells and lying awake worrying I said, 'I don't want to worry about that all the time so I'M dumping YOU'. I quit my job and I've no idea how to carry on and survive, but at least I'm not going to get shouted at by my a*sehole boss anymore lol Sometimes taking control of a situation feels a relief, even if you're losing out.

    Please come back to us when you've got time and feel able to! You're very much wanted and needed ❤💚
