    I agree I also find the so called unexplainable fascinating.Scientists may contradict what may not be easily explained away with an explanation yet accessible to them.My late father had beliefs that different time zones existed and life went on simultaneously in each zone.He also spoke of experiences seeing a spirit once.He was an incredibly intelligent man and didn't mention any of these stories until my mid twenties which were truly fascinating.He always believed that he was in his word "biding his time on this earth".Which is an odd thing to say to your daughter,but something I take comfort from now thinking and hoping he is in a better place.I get the impression ( I may be wrong) that you have a love of reading?.As your writing is just beautiful

    That sounds awful, eel. Hope you can find effective medication against the migraine and vomiting….I remember that well but mine was hormone related and I have grown out of it, hurrah! Trouble is, the doctors never put 2 and 2 together to work out it was migraine and no medication offered…except morphine twice as an emergency. Don't put up with pain if you can find something to be taken in advance which prevents the migraine coming on….

    By the way, eeL, the thing about being able to find words, or put words to feelings is a well known phenomenon called alexithymia...there's a big Wiki page on it. Unpleasant, but it passes usually....

    Yes deja vu is I think a subject that very under explored.I don't personally often experience it myself often anymore.I am fascinated my ghosts and spirits or should I say I'm open to the idea that they exist.I have wondered over the years why my father hasn't paid me a visit but perhaps he's way too happy being off this earth and it's energy.I do get regular visits by Robins which I take comfort from a belief that it may be a message from him.Our souls don't stay with our physical bodies necessarily so it'll certainly be interesting at some point in the future to see where we all go.We may have already been here and have absolutely no recollection.Do our memories get wiped?.It's a very bizarre thought but nothing is totally unreasonable

    The Russians have definitely been trying to understand brain activity since the days of the Russian Empire. They have an institute in St. Petersburg. Some of them worked in Cambridge if I remember correctly. I really haven't heard any successes.

    When I was younger I used to hear voices calling me and felt the sensation of someone jumping on my bed I've always been very in tuned to people for years I was convinced I was psychic id think of people from years back then suddenly dump into them I think things would happen and they did most the time I've been reading alot about connecting to your spiritual side getting back to nature doing grounding walking bare foot in garden house would it surprise you that rubber soles on shoes disconnect us from the earth all by design the goverment has done everything to make our minds bodies weak down trodden the air the food the water the fear based reality they have created for us distractions ie football alcohol cigarettes we are almost nonexistent as I always ramble I'm really trying to connect to nature find the strenght inside we was not designed to live this way and maybe are brains and bodies fight against this world and we feel the toxic energy and from now on whatever the goverment tells us what to do I will do the opposite

    We are products of industrialisation....hence pollution, excessive materialism etc. But in the past people also needed to buy things and there was definitely a sense of status and so on...I don't know if life was less stressful and busy for ordinary people...powerlessness and poverty were very stressful if you were at the lower end of society...but they didn't have the same level of information overload that we have, including advertising everywhere.

    Its great to walk barefoot when we can but we can't blame government for the need to wear shoes...it's just practical!

    We don't need to buy into conspiracy theories....it is best to keep a cool head as much as possible. Sadly though there are real threats in the world but personally I try to be cheerful. Fear is the most disempowering thing.

    If you are clear you haven't done anything wrong, please don't let the nagging accusations in your head to push you down! It is depression talking.

    Ps why do the council have your bank statements, are they looking at them for deciding on Housing Benefit? X

    Blimey..my Council is bankrupt so don't have the staff to do all that!!

    If you have difficulties budgeting have you ever thought about getting mentoring from a charity eg Christians against Poverty? or there are others..? I have heard good things about them. All the best

    Sounds really difficult… Moving to UC sounds like a pain, I haven't encountered that yet…

    There are budgeting and mentoring agencies out there which could help, and there are ways to train yourself to not spend impulsively, but it takes time ….please be kind to yourself.

    Best wishes x

    @Jane315STARX

    You are making sense to me, yes. It could be that you are mentally drained. This is the brain’s shutdown coping mechanism usually triggered by severe depression. It’s like you’re zoning out, for want of a better expression. Sometimes it’s just fatigue, and sometimes it’s something deeper. You should talk to your GP if you’re concerned, which it sounds like you might be. I have had similar episodes, but it’s a bit like driving from A to B. When we reach our destination we are not always remembering what we did throughout the entire drive, for want of a better scenario - we remember setting off and we remember getting there - but sometimes how we did was on autopilot. Try some meditation techniques, I find them so useful to declutter my mind at night and feel fresh mentally the next morning. There are free meditation apps that help you with CBT - basically staying in the moment. I tune into those personally. Much love ❤️
