Hi, my name is wamjue! Can I appeal my speeding fine?
Hi all, ive been caught speeding in my campervan converted from a panel van t30 transporter, I was doing 60 in a 60, its never been used for transporting goods, and its only insured for social domestic and pleasure can i appeal

Sorry to hear you were caught speeding, but yes, you can appeal it. But please be aware this will be taken to court and you will need to pay legal fees, plus fees for legal advice, so it's not something you should take lightly. Especially as you may end up with a bigger fine than originally given if the courts don't rule in your favour.0 -
The insurance doesn't matter here. What is it classed as on the V5C logbook?

if you only recently received the fine, you might be better off just paying it. if you pay it sooner, they usually tend to offer a lower fee.

Speeding fines have a fixed £100 penalty, you can't pay less by paying it early.

The T30 is a VW 3 tonne van, was you on a single carriageway with a 60mph limit?
If you was then you should have been only doing 50 mph maximum for the weight of the vehicle even though its converted.
