There definitely were quite a few complaints to Ofcom about it. I watched it the day it came out and kept an eye on the reactions to it on social media. I did see quite a few people chatting about making complaints, so I'd imagine that's now getting out to the newspapers.

I have found it interesting that some of these newspapers are just as bad when it comes to writing articles about people using the benefits system. Feels a little hypocritical of them to be pointing out how terrible Channel 4 has been when they've often had similar headlines in the past!

The publications/sites owned by Reach PLC, have been terrible for writing scaremongering articles about disability benefits.

I haven't seen that dispatches programme, but i fear it'll give disablists on social media more ammo to attack disability benefit claimants.

I'I'll watch it tonight and see for myself.

Just watched it and feel that it is extremely anti-disabled

To start with Blatant lies about income from benefits

It reckons that a single person can be on £24k as a disabled "package"……

Why aren't people wise to these programs media articles we all should unite instead government done amazing work over decades of dividing people playing once against the other whilst they sit back and watch I wish people would wakeup

For a very few, possibly - but this program made out that this was normal / par for the course - that's designed to give the wrong impression of disabled people (most of whom a struggling to make ends meet and to put food on the table)
