Sick. Note

At what point do I need to supply uc a fit note or sick note, I estimate it's going to be at least a year before I can work

If I remember rightly, you're migrating from IS to UC? In that case, you will need to declare your health condition when you fill in the UC form, and should ideally provide a fit note within 7 days of doing that.

I see that you’re already claiming UC which includes carers element for yourself. Are you still claiming this or have you reported changes that you’re no longer caring?

When you report your health condition you must provide a fit note within 7 days. You will need to continue to provide them without any gaps until a decision is made on your work capability assessment.
If found to have LCWRA and your UC includes Transitional Protection you will not be any better off if your TP is more than £416.19/month.

Thank u poppy, my tp is £480 a month so am I correct that goes and I get £416 instead, until I do get a decision does the tp continue as I don't think I will get a decision before my payment date of the 17th jan

If your TP is £480 then if you are awarded LCWRA, it will reduce by £416.
Leaving you on the same amount of money with £64 in TP remaining.

It will only be reduced if found to have LCWRA and that can take several months, sometimes longer.
