Meant to say glad you are well again @Albus_Scope .
Isn't it good to know every day the nights get longer. It really helps me having a bit more daylight.

Cheers @Marydoll5 I think the time away from you lovely lot made me ill. π
I'm one of the many who really suffer when the days get shorter, so every day will be one step closer to those lovely sunny evenings now. β€οΈ

Do you have anything nice planned today?

we have some family friends coming to stay with us for New Year in the Highlands. Are you doing anything nice for New Year @Bluebell21 and @Holly_Scope?

@durhamjaide2001 that sounds really lovely. Are these friends that you don't get to see often? That makes it all the more special. I hope you have a lovely time.
@Bluebell21 sounds like you've had a productive day. Awww that's lovely that your spending New Years day with your brother.
I have decided to have a quiet New Years. I saw my group of friends Saturday for our annual get together which was nice. My Mum lives far away so I'll probably facetime her for a little bit and indulge in a few glasses of wine but I don't think I'll be awake to see in the New Year. βΊοΈ Thanks for asking!

oh lovely is this your brother who you don't often see very much?
These are my parents friends but we always see them around Christmas at ours and a few times a year. A nice quiet New Year sounds like a plan.
