ADP review aka pip in England
Ok obvio I'm from Scotland, I've had ADP, enhanced for approx 15 months and due a review on 7th March, I've only had the car for few months as it took so long for it to arrive, ok I had to put up with that, it's fine, my question is, I'm due to get state pension DECEMBER 2025. what are the chances of me still getting ADP ( PIP) , Will that have an impact?

Hi,
You can continue claiming ADP or PIP above pension age, it shouldn't make any difference to the review.
(New claims cannot be started above pension age.)

Hi Overlyanxios,
What if waiting for results goes past the date I start state pension?

That's perfectly fine for a review as you'll still have an award in place.

They will just extend the previous award by a year. Like @OverlyAnxious had said its nothing to worry about

Thank you to both of you that's been great of you to answer that .

That applies to PIP but not sure if the rules are the same for ADP up in Scotland.

Indeed I'm hoping someone on this site might know !!

The advice about it continuing past state pension age is correct. What I was referring to was whether your award will be extended if no decision is made by the time it's due to end. It usually is for PIP due to the backlogs with reviews but ADP maybe different.
We don't have a huge amount of threads about ADP sadly so there's not much feedback for this.
