    If I have a care plan and move to sheltered accommodation. Is that still housing benefit or is it UC?

    The reason I ask if I don't currently get the LHA rate and wondered if moving moving mean the council actually pay what the area rate is on a one bedroom place.

    Sheltered accommodation is housing benefit.

    So hopefully they would start paying the LHA rate as oppose to telling me my current property is too big.
