Bus Pass
I was awarded pip September 2023 and didn't even think about a bus pass until recently after moving into my home October 2024,i have looked at the application for a pass online this morning.
It says the PIP award letter should be dated within the last 12 months, when I moved into my home I notified PIP of a change of address and they sent me another award letter in this address dated October 2024.
My original award letter is dated September 2023 which is out of date for the application so I have uploaded the new one I received in October 2024 with this address on it.
Will this be accepted in the application?

I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be acceptable. It's an award letter dated within 1 year ๐

That's my thinking but I was doubting it because it isn't the original award letter although its genuine.

Hopefully they will. It's still a genuine letter. You'll have to let us know what they come back with @noman. ๐

Iโm hoping so @Holly_Scope they do say that it can take up to 6 weeks to process but I will update when I hear something.

I think you have to have the points for the mobility bit of PIP to enable you to get a bus pass at least that is what it's like in my county which is Durham
