Happy new year to everybody.
It is very cold. 9 degrees in my room. Got my heater on but it is a bit of a waste as the heat get lost as it filters through the walls and ceiling. I am so so mentally. Also Very scared about the system.. not sure about the government plans on sick people.. but very scared. I Can only hope for a lottery.

Heya @Schildpad and happy new year to you too!
Sorry you're cold too, have you spoken to our energy support people? They may be able to help.As for the government, please don't believe everything you read online, there's so much misinformation out there designed to keep people scared, as it gets them coming back and clicking on more articles. I'm sure it'll be ok. ❤️
afternoon @Sandy_123 best get your feet up and warm up now!0 -
@Albus_Scope thank you. I am renting private. There is no central heating. I got Only a radiator. This place always been too cold in winter. Also need to get rid of this radiator as it is a halogen heater and apparently I am not suppose to use it as (as they claim) it is fire hazard. So I have to.get another kind of heater. I need a good one and also cheap to run . I will see. I don't want to give them an excuse for them to kick me out. Anyway. I think it is better not to think too much about the government but I can not Trust them..

Yes @Albus_Scope enjoyed coffee at the garden centre, too cold to feed the ducks today, much to their disappointment lol.

Oh no @Schildpad how frustrating! I'm a big fan of my oil heater, it's electric but doesn't use a huge amount of power. Plus there's less fire risks. It's basically built like a normal radiator, but can be moved around rooms and filled with oil, so it stays warmer for longer, so it's pretty cost effective.
Oh you big meany @Sandy_123 those poor, starving ducks. 😆
