are we allowed to record our LC W assessments and if so do we need to tell them that you are recording?

I would like to know how to record my assessment on my phone, the app I use at the moment only records my voice for DWP, assumed they stopped their end somehow as it used to work fine.

Are you sure the app is working correctly? They don't have the ability to prevent people recording a telephone call. You can use any recording device.
