Speculation about government changes for PIP..

I think it's 1% by programme discussions I've seen. Yes China, America do much worse

But if no country does anything, what then?

I've decided when switching to uc if I face any form of discrimination bullying I will keep emailing government especially Stephen timms and I will state that they are causing great distress if they don't listen I will make complaints and keep emailing

I didn't say not do anything, but we are a small percentage compared to other countries. Like America,

I think it's a case of the more countries that take part in lowering emissions, the better. And by doing our part, we're helping the whole world. 😊

Won't make an ounce of difference
We're doomed - no matter what

Yes but our 1% maximum won't make any difference to the world - when China and India are INCREASING their emissions

I'm afraid all the main parties take money from the most vulnerable. At least Labour have some small justification for this, having been handed a crashing economy + mounting debt by the Tories. And you have a very short memory Ladyluck, the Tories were extremely unpopular when they were kicked out, that's why they lost so heavily!
I'm not in support of Labour, they should at least know better, they are supposed to represent those worst off in society. I have no qualms with them sorting out the NHS pay disputes etc, we need the country to function again, over 7 million on waiting lists, myself amongst them. All Labour did was restore some of the pay rates that years of Tory rule had eroded. Thousands of doctors, nurses, teachers etc are leaving every year. In my local hospital nurses were using a food bank at the hospital, unable to pay their bills.
So that is the Tory legacy. And slamming green initiatives + foreign aid doesn't cut it either. Both are essential. We've already had sweeping fires and over 40C heat + huge floods in the UK, how bad does it have to become? And foreign aid is a very useful soft power, if people feel better where they are, they don't want to migrate in such huge numbers and they cease to be such a threat as regards disease, disparate regimes + threats of war.
But what Labour should be doing is tax the wealthy and yes lift up the income levels of the poorest, including us. The disparity between the rich + poor has been growing at an ever-more rapid rate in this country. But they won't tax the wealthy as investors have a strangle-hold on the economy. Last time Labour tried to be more radical there was a run on the pound + they had to go and beg the IMF to bale them out. Under Wilson, and yes I remember that too.

whilst I do agree with some of your points, I do have a good memory. I remember every household being given £68 per month via the tories to help with bills. I also remember the pensioners getting up to £650 in WFA and cost of living raises. This government does not have any sympathy whatsoever. They eradicated all help for the elderly and disabled on their first day in power. They made lots of promises to get in, then reneged. They did spend 9 billion though on their union paymasters. All the while we are paying billions every year to take in people we haven’t invited here. Our services have been obliterated, taxation is causing unemployment and our job providers and wealth providers are leaving the country. Who will pay for all this? The people who have no voice.

We need that nice Mr Johnson back, maybe Truss? Any Labour government is better than the Cons; that is unless you are a millionaire.
