Mine was exactly the same! How do they come to their decisions? Throw a dice? If they get a six we pass?
It’s so very hurtful❤️0 -
I had a video assessment on December 13th 2024. The assessment was done by Haas and was then sent for an audit. So the assessor who did my assessment was being assessed. This added a further 4 weeks onto my process. If my report comes back.different to what I said how can this be justified. Also why does it take up to 8 weeks for DWP to make a decision after they have received the report back from the assessor. It's as though they can't do their job properly

Just imagine how many people claim PIP? in the last quarter up until Oct 2024 there were 230,000 new claims for PIP. That doesn't include those that report changes, or those currently going through a review. Your claim will not be the only one that's waiting for a decision, it will be in a pile with hundreds of other peoples.
The report is a recommendation, based on what you said during the assessment, what you wrote in the form and any additional evidence you sent. I would expect it to say what you said word for word.
Once the decision is made if you're not happy you can challenge it by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration.
