I have just moved property within the same postcode and area with the same council. My housing benefit and council tax have successfully been amended and the address changed. I have been here for a few weeks and just received a migration letter to Universal Credit. Will I be eligible for transitional protection? I get LWCRA included within my ESA and get £244.65 per week. I’m hearing mixed messages online and just need some advice. Thanks

If your legacy benefits are higher than your UC entitlement, then yes you will get Transitional Protection to ensure at the time of transfer you aren't worse off.
It does erode over time as other elements go up or new elements are added.
