Hi, my name is kayoioi! Does enhanced element carry over in UC migration?

on migration do you you carry over the enhanced element on working tax automatic when going over to UC?
I’ve been charged for my dental work ( necessary cos I advanced brittle bones ) I used to receive free dental care? Is that not protected anymore either?

Hi @kayoioi I'm sorry you've not had a response yet. Did you manage to get this sorted in the end?

Although this was posted a few months ago I'll answer it just incase someone else has the same question.
No because it's not paid when claiming UC. You would need to report your health condition and provide a fit note within 7 days. This would then start the work capability assessment process off. If found to have LCWRA you would be entitled to extra money from the 4th month. However, if your UC includes Transitional Protection this will erode once this element is included so you may not be any better off.
Free NHS costs for UC are different to what they were for tax credits and it will depend on your earnings. More details in link.
