LCWRA

put in for
LCWRA on October 1st 2024
First fit note was sent in on 10th March 2024
Had my assessment 9th January 2025
Assessment report was received by universal credit on 14th January 2025
Still not had a decision and it’s been a month today since they received my report has anyone else had to wait this long. I receive PIP standard daily living and Enhanced Mobility so I thought with that would factor into a quicker decision.
Going from what I know they will owe me 37 weeks back pay from the 3rd month of my first fit note which will be a lot of money if approved for LCWRA
has anyone else ever had to wait this long for a decision after the assessment was received

PIP has no bearing on the UC WCA process.
Timescales are anything up to 12 weeks for a decision.
UC is a monthly benefit so any backpay due will be calculated in whole months.

You'd need to ask UC if they've received it from Maximus- if so they can send you a copy

If you have access to a journal, put a message on there and ask them to send it to you. This would be all they would do when you ring the helpline.

Hi poppy123456 I put it on my journal twice and the lady said we are a jobcentre you would have to ring the universal credit number.
