Undiagnosed fatigue

Thanks OneSunnyDay. Don't think it's anything to do with what I eat as this has been a gradual worsening fatigue over last 6 - 9 months, rather than a constant fatigue over that period. Just seeing if anyone can recommend what further tests I could request which may point to the cause. Thank you for your reply kind regards Gary

Hi Gary wondered how you are doing - could you update us? Are you still getting the fatigue?
I wondered if you had psioratic arthritis given fatigue and nail effects.
Best wishes

Hi John, thank you for your message. I am feeling better, although that period of extreme fatigue remained undiagnosed. Even got rejected for a referral for chronic fatigue syndrome. Despite my thyroxine levels being normal, I decided to increase my dose by 25 mg without GP consultation. Probably not the smartest decision but I was so overwhelmed by fatigue, that I thought I haven't got much to lose. I will get my thyroid levels checked in about a months time. Of course it could be a coincidence, but seems odd that I'm feeling so much better than 2/3 months and the only difference I can see is change in levothyroxine. Thank you again for your message and kind words best wishes Gary
