Your PIP review is complete, DWP text

Hi @hopeful12 - & welcome to the community. If already awarded PIP, then it can continue after you reach state pension age, as you say. The only issue can be if you don't already have the mobility component then that's very difficult (but not impossible) to get once state pension age is reached.
There won't be a problem with your PIP award even if you become 66 before a decision is made, though, as usual, your PIP award could go up or down, or stay the same.

I'm so scared of losing my pip I had a message saying review is complete and to not contact them unless a change of circumstances is this good or bad my anxiety is through the roof

It's a standard message they send to everyone.
Despite what it says you can ring them and ask the outcome ๐

Okay thankyou so much for your reply I'm so worried about this my partner and me could not cope without this help

well how much more do you need to be told. That seems a reassuring phone call and you said itโs told you the new rates

Hiya thanks for your clarification on that! My letter has been sent with a decision and I called twice this morning and spoke 2 separate agents who advised they are not allowed to give a decision over the phone. I told the second guy I'd checked online and can see this can be given but he advised this is not true and they can not give this info?. Is this a new rule or do they just not want to tell me what the letter says because it's a no?. Thanks for your help x

The letter will obviously tell you the outcome so no need to waste time ringing them if they told you the letter has already been sent to you.

Thanks I'm just itching to know what the letter says and obviously a few people said they called and was give an outcome so I just wanted to check why I wasn't able to do this. Hopefully comes soon as my post always seems to come months later here ๐๐x

Hello @Laurb495. We are hearing from an increasing number of people who are being told they will not give the decision over the phone but we're not yet aware of any policy change. Some of these people have had positive outcomes and awards and others have been declined, so it's impossible to tell what the outcome will be based on this. I hope you receive the letter soon and if you feel able to share, we'd be interested to know your outcome.

Thank you for your reply. It must be a newer policy I will let you know when I eventually hear the outcome I assume this is due to people kicking off at the person giving the info if the decision wasn't one we was happy with.

I'm Shocked to say the letter has actually arrived today 12 days not too bad for postie round here. It was a no only got 2 points on standard living but the report says I said I could do stuff but I didn't it all seems a bit of a lie. Because my sister has rent set up as a standing order and does my bills online with me that counts as me able to manage finances. He also said that I did the assessment myself (the person who was helping me couldn't make the call as it was over a hour later than should be) but literally had all my meds and stuff in front of me to read to him which I told him. Little annoyed by the outcome I'll try for a MR but not holding my breath.

I received exactly the same text for my first time review and I called PIP straight away at 9AM and I managed to get through. My anxiety is shooting up after receiving this text so I called. I got an answer from a lovely lady confirming my award stays the same and extended to another 3 years. ๐๐๐

That depends how they feel. I have severe anxiety and receiving this text makes me feel very anxious, so I call right after I received the text today at 9AM, and I managed to get through. Fortunately enough, I was answered and dealt by a very kind lady and patiently read the results of my review which is a good news. So now, I can relax and not have a heart attack again,๐ so I just wait for the letter to arrive. ๐คญ
