I got rather an abrupt message in my journal from Douglas saying
If I don't sort out my issues with my phone I will have to supply an alternative phone number or my payments will stop
Is that his way of telling me I need to buy a cheap mobile phone so he can ring me on a different number?
I'm. Upset and disgusted
My phone never rang
I restarted it trued other numbers it works. Ive not blocked them
I feel like he thinks I'm a liar

Hey everyone, I've had a mixed day. Had a few tech problems today, don't we love tech when it has its wobbles lol? Anyway I worry a lot about things going wrong so just been worrying about it, especially as it's only nearly a month old. I also went out for lunch today which was nice - I had a jacket potato with prawns.

Oh @Amberpearl that's horrible, I'm so sorry. I know how much that appointment had been stressing you out. The same thing happened to me before, I sat there with my phone on my lap for an hour beforehand and the phone didn't ring, it just went straight to voicemail. I left a note on my journal and they rearranged the appointment for me and that call went through ok.
Were you using your phone for anything else at the time, like checking emails or browsing the web? I'm wondering if that might've stopped the call coming through somehow?
Could you ask for another appointment? Or for someone at the job centre to give you a quick courtesy call, just to make sure the calls are coming through? It may have just been a one off glitch.1 -

He was very rude in the journal
I felt he didn't believe me
I. Explained everything
He's rearranged the appointment for Monday 10 march 11am
He was so rude if I don't sort out my issues with my phone my payments will stop
I have to get an alternate phone or fix this one
I'm. In bits not my fault
I wasn't checking emails nothing
I wax sat with my bank statements and phone on lap waiting from. 2pm
I rang my mobile provider 3 and explained everything
He removed my voicemail and call barring and he assured me me everyone can get through
Now I've ano 2 weeks waiting
I've been. Made to feelike I did it in purpose
Douglas put failed to attend appointment
I'm. So upset

Do I have the right to complain

He would pass on my messages

Nobody rang me back
I left 10 messages in my uc journal

yes you do have the right to complain.

In the journal he says he needs to dicuss the bank statements I provided and ask for more evidence
What evidence? I uploaded 5 months bank statements as requested
I don't understand

@Amberpearl I would complain. I am sure they will ask you for February's statement. And probably March when March pass. Please complain if it really goes somewhere. Nobody can tell you benefits will be cut for any tech issues.. I don't believe they called.. I hope it gets sorted and truly he will call you. It happened to me they leave a message and blame you.. it is awful. I dread when they move me to UC.. i am sure they will make my life a misery.
