ESA migration to UC

Hi hope all are doing ok.
I just wanted to make this post to maybe help people who are going through the managed migration as I’m sure many will be now or soon enough.
I was very anxious myself about this but having gone through it I can assure you it’s way simpler than you would be fearing and try not to worry yourselves about it too much.
some might be worried that they will have to adapt to get used to getting paid once a month, but if you are receiving pip and esa it becomes very simple and your esa will be paid fortnightly and your UC will be paid monthly but in reality you will be getting money from both every 2 weeks because one of them you will get esa and pip payment and the following fortnight will receive your UC and esa fortnightly.
Hope that makes sense, basically if you are getting both pip and esa you will not need to worry about waiting ages for a payment.
You will get paid your money in fortnightly increments and nothing to worry about.

Hello @sd100. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and feedback of the UC migration process. We mostly hear from people when things go wrong as they are looking for help, so it's great to hear from people who things go well for.

TThank you for posting this. I'm v v stressed about it all myself. Just been going through it all the last few weeks and filling in the UC To Do's form today. Need to make my application by the 11th March. But due another ESA payment at the end of this month/start March, so waiting til after that before I press "go/submit".

Try not to stress it really is not as bad as you think it will be, they even let you take an advance if you need one, it should all go ok and there are many people on here that can give you advice if you have any concerns or problems with it.
im not an expert my post was only to help people that were stressing. But like I said if you have any concerns or questions just ask a question in this forum and you will get good feedback and help from some very knowledgeable people.
