Oomph and Motivation

What gets you motivated when you've lost the oomph?
I'm trying to get myself back on track just with the everyday stuff and to try and kick start some enthusiasm to do hobbies and interests. Right now I just can't gear myself up or seem to organise myself. It's leading to feelings of frustration and guilt towards myself, when yet another day goes by and I simply just haven't done much.😕
My mobility means that I'm more comfortable at home and I don't have an issue with that because I've always managed to have hobbies to keep me busy. I paint and draw but I've definitely lost my creative mojo!
Spring is around the corner and by now I would usually of had my packets of seeds arranged and organised but it just seems too much of an effort this year. I'm missing that oomph 💥 to get going.
I really don't know where the day goes and by the evening I feel so disappointed with myself that I try to fit a few more hours in whilst I'm in bed, trying to sketch or draw or plan an activity for the following day. I've been forcing myself to stay awake at night to try and achieve something. It's caused my sleeping pattern to go a bit crazy but I'm getting that back on track now. 👍
I'm really not a regimented person but I do like to have a bit of structure to my day just so I can feel good towards myself for accomplishing something. But I'm finding everything a real effort right now and don't feel excited about much.
I once craved to have the time to do all of these creative and exciting things but now I do have the time ( though I don't always have the physical ability) I can't seem to get organised and am left feeling a bit disappointed with myself.
My pain management has not been at it's best recently, but have found using my hobbies and interests to help distract and mentally help cope of huge benefit. That's why it's so important to try and get myself back on track.
So I'd really be interested to learn how others deal with these feelings and how they get their oomph back and stay motivated and excited about their interests.😀 Thanks.

Hello onedayatatime, I find getting up to see the sunrise starts my day in the best possible mood. I've let that slip in favour of more sleep recently though..
I'm stuck creatively and will be following your thread with interest because although I tick off daily accomplishments on my lists, I don't include anything creative. So, I will try doing that and see what happens 😊

Im sorry to hear that @Amberpearl . I hope your dieting plans are going well, I definitely find it difficult to stick to them!
@WhatThe I've treated myself to a box of oil pastels and am yet to use them. I'm looking at a blank canvas not knowing where to start 😕. They look so lovely laid out in the box 😂. Finding time to be creative can have so many benefits 👍 I tend to go through periods of being super keen with a head full of ideas to having a massive slump. My energy levels have been a little low but now we are having some more blue skies hopefully that will change. I hope you find the time to set aside for yourself and enjoy creating 😀

onedayatatime, exactly that. I have a shelf with everything I need but I don't give myself permission to start. There are so many other things to be done first!
I even added more at Christmas in case my paints had somehow dried up without ever being opened 😆
Well done to you for unpacking a canvas 😊 don't paint tubes look lovely all lined up? I hope you find the oomph very soon to get off the starting block and I hope I do too!

My Oomph and Motivation has gone out of the window the last couple of days. I have done very little just lay on the sofa. Good job the dog is old as he is quite happy to just lie with me. I think I might have Covid so have sent for some tests. Will have tomorrow.
Hopefully will perk up soon as lying around is not me at all.
