Support with finding housing

Hello I'm new here and would really appreciate some advice. I'm being evicted by my landlord this month. I'm trying desperately to get representation to ask for a delay but it's proving hard. The council have not been too supportive and I've heard horror stories of how they medically assess need with outsourcing firms.
I am looking at trying to find a place privately but as I'm not working I need a guarantor.
Does anyone know any guarantor schemes or charities in London who could help? It would be to get a one bed or studio.
also does anyone know of any advocacy schemes to help with the court process?

Thank you

    Please seek help from Shelter

The Section 21 is a notice of intent that the landlord wants you to leave.

If you don't leave by the date on the S21 then they have to apply to the courts for an eviction notice. Only the court can order you to leave.

I note that you are finding the council unhelpful, they will not help until you've actually been evicted. If you leave before that they will class you as intentionally homeless and have no legal obligations to help.

You can try OpenRent, where you communicate directly with Landlords. https://www.openrent.co.uk/

Hi @skylight and welcome to the community.

I'm so sorry to hear about your housing situation, I totally understand the panic. Kiimy has given some great links there, but if you're after advocacy, I'd recommend speaking to POhWER they're very good indeed.
