Question about the proposed changes to disability benefits.
Suppose you get awarded the highest rate of PIP for 10 years. Soon after this, the government follows through on their threats to reduce disability benefits/eliminate PIP. Would you then lose the benefits you've just been awarded, or would you continue to get them for 10 years then lose them?

Changes to pip descriptors to make it harder to get
seeing the recent media coverage regarding Liz Kendal and the labour goverment needing or wanting to save 5 billion from the benefits bill I understand after reading into it the bulk of it would come from not raising benefits inline with the 1.7% uplift not fair but something we have to deal with but what I am wondering…

Do pip ask you to renew your claim?
Hi, I was awarded pip after 15 months and a tribunal in January. The length of the award is 28 months, backdated from Oct 2023 until Feb 2026, but given the time it took to get it I'm already worrying about renewing it! As anyone who has claimed for IBS probably knows it was a massive challenge getting it in the first…

PIP increase?
I received a letter last week about an increase in my PIP, but it wasn't completely clear to me what increases I was getting, though my parents helped me by reading the letter themselves, and it seems that I might be getting an additional £135 a month. I'm not really sure if this is accurate, although my parents seem to…

Using Relay UK for PIP assessment
Hi all, I know you can use Relay UK to contact dwp and to start a PIP claim but they are refusing to conduct my assessment using it saying it will take too long.
