Hi, just checking in again to provide more of my experience on the ADP wait-list; I phoned up today as it’s been around six months since my initial application, and they kindly let me know that I should receive a decision letter within the next fourteen days. Will update once the letter has been received.3

Its now 26 weeks since I applied. I complained about the unacceptable delay and said I would write to MSP and MP. Next day a Case Manager phoned and asked 2 questions
1- can you walk 50m and 2- can you cut up food after cooking. That was it! Don’t know if thats a good thing or not. Told me they’d be making a decision by end of last week so we’ll see.2 -
Fingers crossed @kirstine do let us know when you hear more! I'm sorry it's been such a long wait for you.0
-
Will do. Said I would get letter in a couple of weeks. I’m hoping to get Standard rate. Fingers crossed.1

Hi, thanks for updating us, i am still waiting to hear back as well i applied online in january, i did call around 2 weeks ago to be told to wait 4 weeks and if i didn't hear back to give them a call again, i hope you both get your awards, the waiting times are terrible, there is no updates at all even if they sent a text from time to time saying we are still waiting to process your application, you send the form in and many months later still don't hear anything.0
-
Hi, did any of use receive the outcome of your application yet ?0
-
No, still waiting. Thats since 28th Oct. Sent all sorrs of additional info. Contacted my MSP last Friday, she hasn’t even got back to me yet0

Yes it is, did you get the enhanced rate for mobility ? if you have a car or a close family member who takes you out and about they you can apply for free road tax, also if you got the daily living part you can get free bus pass with a companion if you use public transport.0
-
0 pts for mobility, but thats fine. I have no problems in that area yet. Will gave in future as have a neurodegenerative condition0

I've been waiting 8 months so far. When I rang last week I got told my claim is with a case manager but they can't tell me how long they'll take0

Hi. I've just had a call from ADP because my Dr's Surgery has failed to respond to request for supporting information. I called Surgery to be told no one was available to answer why its not been responded to. Anyone else had this problem and if so what was the outcome? I applied at the end of May this year. Thanks. May I add our surgery is the worst in our area and told the gentleman this on the phone. He was very nice and said he'd give this information to my case manager1

I've never thought of doing that to be honest. I've thought about asking citizens advice if they have any information on what to do.1

@Gemma1988 Citizen's Advice can be helpful too! I just think if there are communication issues with local GP surgeries or with your local job centre, MP's can be helpful but it also makes them aware too.
When I read people's frustrations and issues with their local branches, I always wonder how many other people are too having issues. I know my local MP would want to be aware.1 -
Yes I definitely think there'll be more people this is happening to but they haven't mentioned it.1
-
@Gemma1988 It's so sad. Hopefully when the MP knows they look into it on a whole and not just as the one case.1
