Good morning
Does anyone know what payment method pip use for back pay ? And how long it takes ? Do they use Bacs ? Or another method ... Most likely be by carrier pigeon I know the wheels turn slow at the dwp but any slower they will stop ...

They use BACS, which takes 3 to 5 working days to go into your bank from the date payment was made.I see from a previous thread of yours that you were recently awarded by a Tribunal. see thread. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/102042/tribunal-won-dont-give-up#latestAfter a Tribunal win it can take anything up to about 8 weeks to put your award into payment and pay what is owed.

Thankyou for your response I have already been issued back pay it was issued on Tuesday /yesterday .
I understood that Bacs took 3 working days0 -
It's 3-5 working days depending on your bank. You can also ring PIP to ask when your money will be paid into your bank and they will tell you exactly which day.

How long does it take for back dated pip payment take ? as pip rang me up on Saturday to confirm that all my details are same etc , an to inform me that I'll be getting good amount I did get told 3 to 4 working days ?
