Hi @ZarahPiPFibro - you can indeed challenge your PIP decision by doing a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR); details about this should be included in your decision letter.Unfortunately incorrect facts do creep into decision letters, but you need to consider if you would be able to get more points if this was 'corrected.' If you go ahead with a MR, then this should be put in writing saying where you feel you should have scored points, & why.You could get advice near you by checking this link: https://advicelocal.uk/

Thank you. They said that I travel to work and have never abandoned a journey, but I work from home, so what they said is untrue

I appreciate that the comment was wrong, but would mentioning this mean you could possibly receive an award/get a higher award? You need 8 or more points for the standard rate, & 12 or more for the enhanced.

I agree with chiarieds here. Just because what they said wasn’t correct it doesn’t mean you should request the MR. You should only do this if more points can be scored for an award or a higher award. This relates to following and planning a journey, did you score any points here? Are you claiming for mental health or physical conditions?I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

@Hannah_Scope Thanks for that - all a bit confusing with threads etc
@poppy123456 I did not score any points for planning a journey, although I mentioned on original app. form that have difficulties planning routes. I think they have taken “you travel to work...” as meaning I do not have difficulties if I travel to work. I am claiming for fibromyalgia and anxiety/depression.
