Hello.
Thank you for your messages to me. Yes, I would like to get some answers to my questions. I am struggling day to day with uncertainty, depression and anxiety. I am retired and start receiving a state pension. I have applied for pension credit but despite calls to DWP and almost seven weeks from starting my retirement, I still did not hear the result. 
I called citizen advice for help but received only some website links.
Which makes me more feel lost and confused. 

I am single disabled and living in a share house.
My previous financial support for housing rent (UC) is closed. 
I am desperate.

There are long delays with pension credit claims so you could be waiting at least 6 months. Whether there's any entitlement to pension credit will depend on how much your state pension is per week and whether you receive any other income such as pensions.

For help with any rent you'll need to claim housing benefit from your local authority. Same for council tax reduction.
