Let the tears flow @Strawberry1, there's nothing wrong with it. I cry all the time and sometimes in embarassing places! We're entitled to feel our feelings and you've just gone through a stressful assessment.

I asked the assessor @Rachel_Scope about DWP stuff
Been making calls but I dunno what to do
Feeling so over whelmed at the moment
Dont know if im strong enough to deal with them
Theres some sensitive information on my medical records
So im not sure whether to continue dealing with them
Gonna take some time out @Rachel_Scope
Things feel mind blowing at the moment
Sending peace and harmony your way

Maybe rest for today and tackle things tomorrow, or whenever you feel more up to it. There's no rush, you need to look after yourself.

Im gonna take some time out @Rachel_Scope
Thanks for your support
Hope the rest of your day is peaceful
Best wishes to you and your family
Take care

Taking some time out sounds like a good idea, it sounds like it's been a very full on and emotional day and a diagnosis can be overwhelming. Please be kind and gentle with yourself @Strawberry1

It took me quite some time to process all my emotions when I got my diagnosis @Strawberry1, you'll be feeling so many different things all at once and that's okay!! We're here for you โค๏ธ

glad you got the answers you needed @Strawberry1 and you got told immediately.
It's perfectly understandable and valid to cry.

I'm so happy for you!!!!!!!!!
What a relief to find out on the day. I've no idea what the levels are about but it doesn't matter; you have your diagnosis and you're right, we do know and just need it confirmed.
You are officially AuDHD and you've waited all your life to hear this. I won't tell you how long I cried for and just wish I'd found this forum back then. It's brilliant news! Congratulations Strawberry!!!

not too bad thanks still a few health problems to solve.
mum is doing good thank you.
hope you have a great evening and well done again for getting through today.
I'm level 2 and 3, apparently the overlap was significant and 50/50 by aspects which is unusual, in layman's terms I need help about 70% of the time to stop my memory, learning issues, coordination and judgement causing problems.
I'll unfortunately live a very restricted life in terms of independence.
for example I can do basics like get dressed, clean teeth, put myself to bed
but can't use a microwave or washing machine correctly no matter how many times I'm shown.
I can't socialise face to face or by phone at all which has got worse over the years I don't go out at all now just seeing a person ANY person will give me a panic attack, if they tried to hold a conversation I'd get stroppy potentially injuring myself or swearing at them in a stressed panic before walking away quickly.
if anything happens to mum I'm cooked, It haunts me 24/7.

Your one of the nicest people on this forum @Nightcity and its heartbreaking to know you have so many things to deal with .
We are who we are
I know for sure though with or without the things u have to deal with
You are a person with a big heart .
Until today I hadnt been sure of much about Autism even though i have asked questions about it .
It must be a big worry for you in regards your mum
I would hope to think things will be put in place so you can transition smoothly
Hope until that time comes you have many good times together the best you can
It is heartbreaking to hear of your intense issues but u are you and thats ok
Thanks for your past and present support
Forever grateful
Many many thanks always
