I hadn't seen this post when I responded earlier, but I feel quite moved to tears for you,
@WhatThe, I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through.
It’s very likely that individual agents aren’t aware of your claim history or medical information because many don’t have the time (or aren’t given the time) to fully review or care about the details. That’s not acceptable, and I’m sorry no one has taken the time to properly look into your situation and help resolve your issues. I'm willing to try and help unpack some of it if you would like?
I’ve only mentioned some of my conditions briefly here, and not all of them, but I, too, have autism, and I’d be happy to chat with you anytime. Please know that I’m always here as a safe space and a sounding board for you.

Thank you, Emilee, I joined this forum ranting about how DWP had 'migrated' three Incapacity Benefit/Income Support claims to ESA, sent me a P60u every year despite never claiming or receiving taxable benefits and made repeated mandatory referrals to Work Programme despite being rejected by the original provider. Nobody here could make sense of it.
I first saw a DEA in 2008 and spoke to one a fortnight ago who promised the 28-day appointments would stop as they were so stressful. Two days later, I got a 'reminder' text for the original cancelled appointment the following day. They rang 3 times then claimed I had "failed to attend" the WFI. They pretended not to have my landline number and rang my mobile which I can't speak on. Then they pretended that my 'fit note' had expired. They kept this up for almost two years in 2021/22.
The agent who knowingly actioned those referrals began ringing me again last year, pretending I was a new claimant.

@WhatThe, I hope I can help explain this a little:
The majority of Incapacity Benefit claimants who migrated to ESA were placed on contributory ESA (with many also receiving income-related top-ups because the ESA amount was lower than IB, so people received letters saying they were on income-related ESA when actually they were on combination-ESA).
This was because the National Insurance contributions made while receiving IB were counted towards ESA entitlement. As a result, many people found they were receiving a combination of both contributory ESA and income-related ESA without realising it, as the letters only mentioned income-related.
Only a very small number of people who migrated from IB to ESA were not placed on contributory ESA, these were mostly people who had only been claiming IB for a very short while.
I imagine this will be why you received a P60.
Do you have any paperwork from your time claiming ESA which showed which group you were in? How was your migration to UC managed and am I to understand you are now in the "all work group?"

I can hardly believe they can't view your claim history, is this all from the same office and staff? It's a pity you don't feel able to ask for help here.
You have as much right as anyone else to comment on your struggles. I for one care about what you have to say.

Unfortunately, UC agents typically won’t have access to ESA, IB, or IS history, and to be frank, many may not have the time, inclination(!), or resources to look into each case in much detail. This can unfortunately lead to a lot of issues.
I agree with what you’ve said, and I really hope @WhatThe feels comfortable discussing their claim further so we can try to help. Everyone deserves support, and it sounds like she's been let down for quite some time.

I care too @WhatThe you deserve better than this. This forum should be a safe place for you to discuss your issues and ask for support.

Class 1 NIC Credits stopped in the same tax year I applied for IB/IS. I was forced to make two further claims and my original PCA qualifying start and end dates were re-sequenced twice.
I have written confirmation from DWP that I continued to be entitled to Class 1 Credits until my claim was converted to ESA but they were never awarded.

P60u. I have never claimed JSA but apparently became entitled to UC from 1st April 2013.
I received three P45's for my three 'migrated' ESA claims.

Yes, YouSoapStar. All from the same job centre. All because I made a formal complaint about their handling of my first claim.

The passive aggression on the forum is so dispiriting - Albus wouldn't have allowed it to become commonplace.
He understood the trauma of late diagnosis and uniquely, he understood autistic women's experiences.

You might like to read this link. @WhatThe
Dawn Mills said "I always knew who I was, Now I know why I am" She was diagnosed at the age of 56.
Take care.

Why are 'non-binary people' even linked to late diagnosis for women?
Autistic men and 'non-binary people' would be a more appropriate association.
