Saying hello!
I live in the countryside near Newcastle upon Tyne. I moved here from West Sussex to be with my now husband but after 3 years, I have met very few people still and it can feel fairly lonely at times!

Hi @angelmoon and a warm welcome to the community! It's great to hear that you've decided to make your first post and connect with us. I hope you'll enjoy everything the community has to offer.
A great place to start is our coffee lounge where we talk about anything that interests us and plays text-based games such as This or That and Ask Anything. Don't fear jumping straight in as we're a very friendly group.
How are you liking Newcastle? Moving to a new place can be tough, and I can understand how it can feel lonely to not have a strong social network, I've lived where I am for a while now and still feel the same way.
Have you tried joining any local groups or clubs that align with your interests? That could be a great way to meet new people who share similar hobbies and passions.
Lastly, don't underestimate the power of online communities like ours! They are a great way to connect with people who share your interests and experiences.
