Sorry to hear you have to have surgery, although I do hope it is a step in the right direction! How are you feeling about it all?0
-
Just had a call to tell me I've been accepted for a face2face assessment in 12 days time.0
-
How are you feeling about that @anth22?1
-
Hiya very stressed and worried but I chose this option as I want them to see the state I'm in the swelling ect that hold me back from a normal life.0
-
I'm sorry you have to put yourself through so much added stress @anth22

Thank you I will do.0

Thank you @Lou67 I've been and it's over now. @poppy123456 the assessment was stopped after a few minutes the assessor wasn't happy with how ill I am and wanted to protect me from anymore stress. So he's put a request in for a paper based review and told me that will be so much easier for me.0

Bless you,thank you.1

That’s good news! It’s just a shame they couldn’t have done that at the start. It would have saved you an awful lot of stress!1
-
I needed them to see me face2face because they can't see how ill I am over the phone and how I'm struggling the assessor said I looked awful and can see my pain, I just needed to prove a point how life is such a struggle @poppy123456.0
-
Now I've had a few days to calm down its now stressing me out thinking is a paper based assessment a good or bad thing as I won't get to be asked about my daily struggles.
Can anyone advise me what a paper based assessment involves please.0 -
I don't think a paper based assessment is a bad thing. If they had questions to ask when you attended the assessment they would have asked them.Paper based assessment means they write the report based on the information they already have. I've experienced a few paper based assessments and never had a bad outcome.1
-
Thank you @poppy123456 just can't stop stressing be glad when it's all over.0
-
You'll get there @anth22, and we're here for support in the meantime1

I gave PIP a call today as its been a few weeks since my review assessment they said they still haven't heard from capita.
So I called capita who said my paperbased assessment has still not been done, can anyone please explain to me the process of a paperbased assessment as the waiting is terrible🥺Thank you.0
