@Emile I am so happy you have been awarded! Those services are still there should you ever need them. I bet it feels such a relief! :)

they gave me the low rate mobility of £64.00.
Looking at the PIP rates that amount is not low mobility. The PIP rates are as follows...
Daily living.. Standard... £68.10... Enhanced.. £101.75
    Mobility.. Standard £26.90.. Enhanced ...£71.
All rates are per week. PIP is paid 4 weekly in arrears.
I'm over the moon for you. How are you feeling about it?

You quoted the wrong comment, i was just advising what the PIP rates were. I've not had a recent new award, i've been claiming PIP for 10 years.

Davidb - I’ve started to batch cook and freeze, on days when I have the energy. 1kg minced beef will make a lot of mince and mash, lasagne, minced beef pies etc. same with cheap white fish - plenty  of fishcakes, fish stew etc. plus if it’s cooked from scratch it’s healthier. Chicken is still the best buy, it’s so versatile. . It’s getting really hard to budget but you’ve got to have decent nutrition or you fail on other levels, and then you become ill. Maybe this government will tax walking next, or breathing! The only two things that are currently free. Good luck to everyone struggling.
