    Never knew that, Ehit!!

Did you know when you are offered a mouthful of wine to taste in a restaurant before the full glasses are poured out, all you are supposed to be doing is checking that it is not corked. If the wine is fine, and you just don't like it, that's your problem.

P.S. a little anecdote, I once had an elderly relative who thought themselves a bit of a connoisseur and wine expert. They were given some wine from a screw-top bottle and spent the entire evening complaining because they were convinced it was corked!

I did! I'm a huge marine biology and ecology nerd. I'm all about saving our reefs so we can keep breathing properly. :)

Did you know, the original voice for Scooby Doo, Don Massick was also the voice of Mutley from Whacky Races?

    No I didn't! That's a nice fact.

Did you know that the only item that wasn't rationed during the second world war, but was rationed afterwards, was bread?

The authorities thought that rationing bread would damage morale among the public - if we don't even have bread what is there left sort of thing - so they didn't ration it during the war but after the war it was rationed.

    No

Did you know that if you buy a while head of celery, you can chop off the stalks and stick the rest back in water to regrow.
