Hello everyone, I have had Fibromyalgia for about 14 yrs now and it has been a real battle to push on and keep going. My ex husband didnt want to know so went off with someone else, causing my fibro to become worse, stress is something for me that makes it so much worse. I also have diabetes type2.
There is nothing I can do for the fibro, Ive tried everything. I have found that being in a hot bath or spa pool helps for a short time. Also helps to get to sleep sometimes.
Im at the point now at 60 that I am going to have to stop working full time, Im in so much pain. Its sad, but im glad there are others who know what its like, as you cannot tell just by looking at us.
When I stand up its like Im 90, takes me a good 10 mins to get moving, then I struggle to get dressed, forget where Ive put things, struggle with stairs, and Im always sooooo tired. Im off work at the moment as I get so much pain I just have to stay home, which then infuriates my employer, which then stresses me out and around the cycle we go. So thats me, write to me if you wish

Hi @molly365 and welcome, thanks for joining and taking the time to share a bit about how things are, sorry to hear how stressed you're feeling.
Have you ever discussed reasonable adjustments or flexible working with your employer? ACAS have some great information on an employer's duty to make adjustments for disabled workers.
