Can't be totally random, must be done on NI numbers or birthdays or names or something. Computers don't do 'random'!1 -
Mine arrived today.0

My PIP got paid yesterday the 21st, didn't receive COL payment, husbands PIP went in today and so did his COL. Should it be paid alongside your normal payment or is that just coincidence? Thank you0

It's a coincidence. It can be paid anytime up until 4th July. Plenty of time left yet.

Mine is paid now0

Received today too, others I know haven't received it yet so it is random.0

does anyone know what system the dwp actually does use to set payment dates? ie is it surname or ni no maybe? im not due a standard payment until the 10th of july and they are supposed to be paid by 4th i think. so mine would not be in line with any standard payment. just curious?0

Many people have tried to work out a "system" that they use to pay people but none of them have been correct. If someone has received the payment on the same date as their usual 4 weekly payment then it will just be a coincidence. There's lot of people that have yet to receive it but plenty of time left yet.1

Hello,
I hope I'm not asking an obvious question but i struggle taking and understanding information.
I received a letter awarding me pip on 9/03/2023.
My initial claim started on 1 November 2022.
On the 16th march 2023 i received all back pay owed.
The first pip payment i received (after back pay)this year was on the 6th of April.
Does anyone happen to know if I will be entitled to the £150 cost of living payment, or have I just missed out.
Thank you to anyone who replies

Your claim started in November 2022 so you will be entitled to the £150. This is because you were entitled to a payment of PIP for 1st April 2023.

Can the call handlers on the PIP helpline see if the disability Cost of Living payment has been actioned? Apparently UC advisors could see the £301 payment three days before it is in your account...0
