@beckyapril123 is there anything that helps you with the anxiety?0
-
@lmarie3004 not seeing the postman is a start haha x2
-
@beckyapril123 i think this is the most torturous process ever
do you receive lcwra?1 -
@lmarie3004 I work full time from home so I am not eligible. Which is probably another reason they won’t give me PIP. I am not supposed to work from home but because of my condition my company allow me to as it’s more comfortable and I find it painful to sit in an ergonomic chair.0

@beckyapril123 awww bless you, thats good your company look after you like that
i applied for lcwra back in November 2021 but got turned down originally, took it to MR and was overturned nov 22
took me a few months to apply for pip after the torture of doing that. Can’t believe im doing it again0 -

Hello Imarie3004 and beckyapril123I understand that PIP is a very stressful process but constantly worying about what will happen will not make it happen any quicker. All you are doing is putting yourself in more stress and making things much worse for your self. This might not help you but it is my opinion that claimants should "Hope for the best but prepare for the worst." Put your self into a mind set that if you are refused (yes you will be disapointed or even devistated) that there are more options for you to get your award. That is why there is a "system" in place when you make a claim for PIP so if you do not get an award first time you have 2 more options to put forward your detailed personal anacdotal evidence to show that you warrant an award. So please take your mind of what will happen (I know it is very worrying) because it will not make it happen any quicker.I hope you have a successful outcome but if you do not do not worry because there are more options available to you.Kind RegardsNasturtium2

@nasturtium yes I totally understand that. Thank you
What will be will be
if to stay with my mum next week for two weeks so that will help2 -
Hi @nasturtium I understand what you are saying in regards to ' putting yourself into a mindset '' for myself personally I always expect the worst and that is what I am set on. But still the waiting for the no is still very frustrating experience. I also understand that everyone's timeline is a little different but coming on here being able to speak to people who are also in the same position. makes me feel a little bit better x

@lmarie3004 I will say after reading it I was pleasantly surprised on the assessor, specially after all the stories I have read, it looks really promising with standard for both mobility and daily living which is great news for me.1
