Hi everyone. Does everyone get a text message if you are awarded? Or do some people just get the letter? I'm pulling my hair out waiting 😮💨0
-
I never got a text saying I was awarded I'm from Northern Ireland tho no one I know in my area got a text to say they were awarded just money on account and the letter afterwards I still haven't got my letter but did get awarded letter should be here before Friday this week they said0

I'm pulling my hair out waiting 😮💨No, not everyone will receive the text message. Some people receive both, the text first, then any money owed is usually paid into your bank before the decision letter is received.Award texts are not sent for review decisions.1

@beckyapril123 @Daisydukes
how are you both? I just had the not made a decision yet text this morning! Any updates? Hope you both feeling ok0 -
@lmarie3004 Heyyy, Well as you know I have had my report back and it looks fine and I was happy with it. I haven't heard anything since. it will be 5 weeks this week since assessment. and 2 weeks since I received the same text you have had x1
-
glad you are happy with the report 😌
hopefully won’t drag much longer for u.
ive seen so many people have had awards texts within days of no decision text. Weird how it varies for some people 😩0 -
@lmarie3004 yeah me too, which then makes me anxious again because I think well what if they go against Assessor and are now typing up my big fat NO letter. lmfao1

Thanks Poppy
@beckyapril123 🤣🤣 that made me chuckle
i keep panicking about that too! But as Poppy said they generally tend to go with reports 🙏🙏🙏 fingers crossed0 -
@lmarie3004 do you think phoning makes any difference, as in are they able to give you the decision that's been made ( if one has been made ) over the phone ? or won't they tell you.0
-
I think if they have made the decision they would tell you over the phone, think some people have. Might be worth a call just to see!?1

if the former you and me are in a similar boat (I’m jealous of those whose got the ‘no decision’ text within 2-3 weeks of the ‘got the report text’ - I know not everyone gets the texts but it shows that things are moving along, progress on the anxiety limbo)
it does worry me that I’ve only got one text and not the other by now because I haven’t read of many who’s had a similar pattern and if they got an award or not
i know gamechangers will say there’s no patterns but the silence and limbo makes me nervous0 -
@apple85 it seems to be a lottery of who gets texts and who doesn't to be honest, if you are unsure you can always give them a call for an update. They are usually quite pleasant on the phone and will try and help as much as they can.0
-
We received your written report back let u no in about 8 weeks
I've just tried phoning waited 20 mins they cut u off bloody nitemere0 -
@rachel3471 yeah getting through is a nightmare, most of the time takes around 40 minutes that's just my personal experience with it.0
-
I know it’s a lottery……….it’s the anxiety lottery!
honestly I never think it’s a good idea to phone the dwp unless you really have to (obviously I’ll have to contact them for assessor notes to get posted if my review fails but not before)0 -
@apple85 yeah that's how I feel, It is a nightmare waiting.0
-
U would think by now it would be able 2 excess online surely would be less stress for everyone0
