Does the report say how many pointsHow long have you been awarded for
As it's a condition what will never get any better and will always need help
2. As above, if points have been recommended then the assessor will enter an award duration, or ongoing (10 years) if they think your conditions warrant such an award. This isn't always followed either.0 -
Thank you
I don't know whether to wait for decision am sure I should be awarded as my partner helps me so much
How long was you awarded for if you don't mind me asking?0 -
If there’s any recommendations for points in the report they will not be added up. If you request it you will need to look for the descriptors. Next to those will be dots in either box a,b,c,d etc etc. You will need to look at the descriptors to add up the points yourself. The report is a recommendation only and not the decision.0

Yes probably best to wait
Really I thought you should have got it for longer as it's never going to get better and we will always need help0 -
It's nice when someone messages back to put you at ease
Are you profoundly deaf and need lots of help1 -

Should of been more for you
I have more profoundly deafness
And struggle
Am hoping I get something0 -
Hi
Just to say when I filled my form in I put I needed help with new/unfamiliar places
And really I need help with with familiar places no matter where I go from my partner because of my servere/profoundly deafness
Will the dwp know this?
As my partner on the phone assessment said to the assessor she helps me on local places0 -
As you didn't include it in the form, they will only know if the assessor has included that in the assessment report.

Thank you
My partner told him I don't use transport
We go shopping together
When crossing roads we use safest options and she holds my arm if we do have to cross a busy road
I can't hear tannoys etc0 -
By looking at my audiogram he said all my high pitched noises have gone as my partner told him if we has to evaquate a building I wouldn't hear what's been said and he said if I was on my own could put myself in Danger etc
Also if asking for directions I wouldn't able to hear what's been said and understand the sentence0 -
All you can do now is wait for the decision. It's not possible to speculate anything at this stage.

Thank you
Have you been awarded for deafness0 -
That’s not the reason why I claim PIP.0

@Toby2007 fingers crossed, let’s see what the DM comes back with0
-
Thank you much appreciated hope it's good news0

I'm glad you'll have someone with you during the assessment this time. Sorry for all the questions but was just a little concerned when i seen that you were going ahead with the assessment before the appointee process was completed. Good luck with the assessment.
