As they are saying it's from 17th May and they apply the wating period from then, the LCWRA element won't be paid until either Oct or Nov.There's still something missing here and that's the decision of the first work capability assessment that you were referred for back in Nov 2020. Though i don't understand why you reported changes in April this year, if no decision had been made on that assessment. Didn't you ever make any enquiries about that?As advised, you need to request the MR.
You can just request it on your journal as a message. Tell them the date you first reported your health condition. Also tell them that you were referred for a WCA in Nov 2020 but never had an assessment and a decision was never made. Tell them that because of this you should be awarded from the date you reported your health condition. (the waiting period for the LCWRA will then start from that date)

You’re welcome!1

Paper-based assessments were the norm during lockdown. You provided continuous medical evidence which was accepted. Challenge the first decision - the revision decision of late.0

Thank You once again!1 -
You were in receipt of PIP which means supporting medical evidence was available to them when you claimed UC in 2020 and is still available to them in 2023.1

Comes the question ,will I still be paid ,while they make a decision or is it a waiting game from now on?
Thank You0 -
You will still receive your usual payments while a decision is made on the MR.

@V4Vendetta, can I just ask if your partner did report a change to your condition in March this year as they said?
Also, prior to claiming UC, were you claiming any other sort of benefits?0 -

Just in May,out of the blue they decided to do WCA,and fill the form, which we've done will all the evidence.
Yes prior to UC claim I was/am on PIP and my partner was receiving housing benefit and some others, like child tax etc,she is always been/is in full time job.
Thank You0 -
I still don’t understand why you reported a change to your health condition in March.0

In May ,Poppy,.The problem is they never asked for anything apart from sick notes until May ,when they decided to refer for WCA.
They never mentioned before about it,just at the start in 2020, when they've done nothing about it.
I also wasn't aware of any WCA0 -

Sorry @V4Vendetta all these different dates are confusing me. On one of the entries on your journal, UC say that your partner reported to UC a change of circumstances on the 24/4/2023.
If you scroll back to that date on your journal, can you see any entries? Did you partner report to UC that your condition had changed?0 -
@V4Vendetta You were referred for a WCA way back in 2020, what I’m confused about is what happened about that?
I can see part of a journal message on 18th July which seems to be asking about a WCA. Can you please tell me what that says?

The message your partner sent on 18th July said there was a huge mistake and you wasn’t award what you were entitled to.To me this seems like a decision was actually made on that WCA, what was that decision?I asked you this in a previous comment and you said no decision was made. Please have another look through your journal to double check.0

Was awarded in May this year after, like I mentioned before, when they asked for WCA.0 -
This looks familiar to me. UC informs client that 'fit note' is about to run out, directs to Report Fit Note, requests the health declaration as above and all this becomes "a change of circumstances".
