Hello I’ve just received my decision from work capability assessment and I’ve been awarded Lwcra I’ve been putting in sick notes for a while and stoppped due to being in hospital for mental health. I’ve been in hospital since February.
I sent a sick note in 17th April and ended this month July 17th I’ve read online about the payment coming in 3 months after something but I can’t understand it lol. If someone could help me get a date for my first payment and see if I’m owed backdate pay. I had the phone call 20th June and decision on 10th of July, all of this is this year.

What date exactly was your first fit note? How long was the gap exactly? Usually you need to continue to send fit notes without any gaps. I can't help without all the information. You can ask if you can send a backdated fit note for the gap and tell them that you couldn't send one during that time because you were in hospital. It will be down to a decision maker to decide when it's paid from.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please.
