@Steve_in_The_City Oh she'll find a way :D but joking aside it is something I feel I want to know and don't at the same time.

That's so cute as well. I always wonder why my Gwen is at the top of the stairs when I come home. I just thought she liked to sit there! Oh wow! I have a friend who does Tarot and I always think, whether you believe or not, it's a great way to put a confusing or stressful situation in another light.

Almost like saying "this could happen" well why? What am I doing or what is someone else doing for that to be a possibility? It can be a great mind clearer.

@Hannah_Scope I think I need to lay my cards on the table, so to speak! My Grandma who I never met was a well known medium in Yorkshire. I have certain "sensitivities", probably inherited from her. My close friend that I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread was a tarot reader, but would never read the tarot for anyone that she knew, no matter how slightly. She also exposed fake mediums. I can read the tarot, but stopped doing so years ago as I found it unsettling. I wouldn't be inclined to ask a friend of mine to give me a tarot reading and in the days when I read the tarot for others, they had to be strangers to me.

Decades ago I published a magazine called Aware. It dealt with all supernormal matters. Quite a few mediums advertised with us, and one in particular was outstandingly gifted. If you do seek out a medium, check their credentials in so far as you can and give nothing away!

@Steve_in_the_city If I don't see your book by next years Christmas bestsellers....😂

That's amazing! I would always check their credentials and I'd be privatising my ancestry account beforehand! 😂

I think the artist has taken liberties, what do I mean?, a child's portrait, but given an adults expression (stern look), I can't think of a child giving that expression, especially for a 'sitting'.

@Steve_in_The_City ... all that post is so cool.

The latest offering happened last night ... upstairs my wife laying in bed  and she coughed, I then coughed ... then on the landing - someone else 'coughed'.  A few seconds silence before we both looked at each other and my wife decided she didn't want to pee anymore  :*

Really had to be there.  Not in my bed , but ... so very freaky

@rebel11 It is quite a stern look! I wonder if they were being told off? :D

@WelshBlue That is freaky! Looks like you may be building an en-suite!

@Hannah_Scope It's like the Mona Lisa, by all accounts that's meant to be a self portrait of Leonardo da Vinci's face. I know who knew?  :o

@rebel1 I have heard that rumor... unsure if I believe it yet or not. I may need to see it up close to be sure  ;) I cannot remember if it was Raphael or Rembrandt, who used to paint themselves into paintings? :D

I don't like her. Puts me in mind of the crying boy one.
And to veer off topic slightly. Can't remember who mentioned it now but someone was talking about superstitions. I always understood that you had to break the bottom of eggshells so witches couldn't make them into boats. They must be very small witches...😁
We've got an odd one. Never turn the calendar over on the first day of a new month. Always wait till the 2nd. I've never heard of this being done by anyone outside of our family. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. I used to drive them nuts at work when I'd flip their calendar back to the previous month! My calender got turned over last Saturday😄

Yep, so they couldn't put to sea and sink ships.  According to my Bunty annual (I think) from the early 70s or some such.  Anyway, I still scrunch my eggshells ...

@birdwatcher I'd never heard the egg or the calendar! :D They must be small witches indeed! haha.

@rebel1 :D I googled and it was actually both!

@Florine Going to have to look it up, would you consider it folklore? Be a great story for the kids in my family with Halloween coming up.

Witchcraft is either good or bad, depending on your heart and feelings. What goes around comes around, karma and all that guff. Read up on it. This is what His Majesty Google tells me: In Buddhism, karma refers to the principle of cause and effect. The result of an action — which can be verbal, mental, or physical — is not determined by not only the act but also the intention.22 Nov 2022.

"Intention" is everything. I am a Reiki Master, but it doesn't matter how you want to heal people - there are numerous methods highways and byways - but the all important ingredient is the "intent" to help others. "Intent" is everything; without "intent" to help someone, you are nothing.

@stromy haha, you are right, it isn't that symmetrical. What kind of art do you like?

The face isnt very symmetrical, one eye seems a different shape and size to the other. I dont like portraits anyway though LOL

That's because the face is at a slight angle, not head on.
    Check the neck.
