Hello Hannah,I am a hearing aid user, and obtained a disabled rail card a year ago, which now needs renewing. The web site said easy way log in no need to resubmit application, received message oops not avaiable code 500. Called phone booking number, gentleman helpful but line poor combined with accent I could not hear most of what he was saying, happens a lot, hearing aids good but not perfect, gave up. Emailed rail card office, sorry about that, get a new set of forms and reaply, one form has to be stamped by social services and has to have photo of my hearing aid battery book. When I took this form to my local council they knew nothing about stamping the form, did not have social service stamp, after prompting they used the council stamp which was accepted. I have not used my hearing aid battery book for years but was able to find it, hearing aid sevices have been passed over to private, Specsaver in my case and they use their own card to record battery supply. I did see a comment on face book by someone on the Scope site refering to the same problem but can not remember how I found it. At nearly 93 I have difficulty with short time memory but can give detailed accounts of dailt happening in my life back to th early 1939s0
