Hello I’ve been handing in fitnotes for 2.7 years now , my wca was denied 3 times and only recently excepted looked over and I won. But will I only be paid back pay from when they received my wca in July 2023 or will I be paid from when I handed in my first fit note in Feb 2021? Please help thankyou uc doesn’t seem to get back to me

Hi @jadecoops and welcome!

In this instance, I believe the DWP would only pay from the date your WCA was applied for. So July 2023. 

How have you been asking the people at UC?  Usually leaving a note in your journal should get a reply in a day or two.

It will be from July 2023 I believe. You won't get it backdated if have already had the WCA severalt times and been refused

The reason I’m asking if it’ll be backdated to when I started putting in fit notes as it says when I first stated my medical conditions , and that was 2.7 years ago, but only just won lcwra, I was told it will be from my first fit note
