Thank you very much for replying
i was calling Samaritans twice today and the lady i was telling to was asking me if i would like to call the police
i was trying to talk to citizen advice but i was waiting about one hour and they were very busy0 -
im really unwell at this place where i currently live and i really don’t like London now
i lived outside London for about 5 years in the past
i was calling local council and the lady said that they cannot help me with the noise
someone can jump around their property above me or walks around in hills above me but they cannot help me
if it was a loud music then maybe they could help
for me it’s really hard to make a phone call and to fight for everything no motivation at all0 -
im feeling really stupid and hopeless0
-
my neighbour who lives next to my room is shouting it’s makes me really worse im really surrendered by not a nice people0
-
when i was better i was helping one lady (she was 70 years old
she was coming to McDonald’s often to have a tea there and to meet other people, one evening when she was using the toilet one girl came there and she said to her “Out ” ,
she ( the older lady) was really scared and she left McDonald’s and she was really afraid to go there again
the security did nothing about it
this Polish lady went to the police station to report what exactly happened, she requested a Polish translator but after a few days she asked me if i could go with her to the police station because she is scared and she would like to withdraw her testimony and i went with her to help about it
im not feeling well in London now and im not coping with anxiety at all
when i was calling council i did tell the lady who was managing my complain ( about neighbour) that in this building where i currently live the management left a note on the main door downstairs and kindly asked all people who lives here to close their doors gently but nobody respects their request

Hi Agnia,
Good you came here to write this weekend.
I found this information - apologies if you already have it. Applying to the housing register in your borough is the first step for social housing.Check if you can apply for a council home
Your local council will have its own rules on who can apply and who has priority for homes - this is called an ‘allocation scheme’. Check your council’s website on GOV.UK to find out how it works in your area.
You’ll probably need to:
- be on a low income or not have a large amount of savings
- have lived in the area for a number of years, or have a job or family there - this is called a ‘local connection’
Not all councils need you to have a local connection. If you’re thinking about moving to a different area, it’s worth checking the council’s website to see if you can apply.
You also might be able to apply if you’ve lived in an area before.

@Agnia
Hi I hope you’re doing good today, I’m sorry you are still going through all of this as it’s been ongoing for a long time now.You have had a lot of great advice here, did you ever get an Occupational Therapist to come out an asses your needs.
As said before that’s a great place to start. Good luck and stay strong.

It’s really hard to live at this place
i was calling council about the help but they cannot help because it’s not very serious for them
and it’s really hard for me to make a phone call0 -
i was calling Samaritans twice yesterday the lady was very kind and warm
she said that sometimes it’s better not complain because it can cause more problems then
i was asking the lady from the council that my neighbour is untouchable and can walk in hills or boots around her place at 2 am knowing that she has a wooden floor0 -
Hi @Agnia, I'm really sorry to hear the issues you're having.
Can you tell me if you've talked to your GP or another medical professional about how this all makes you feel? You say the council don't see this as urgent. Have they ever received a letter from someone who knows your condition and how this is affecting you?
I am sorry if you've been asked this before, I'm just trying to see if there's another avenue of support maybe available!0 -
Thank you very much
@Jimm_Scope
i did write an email to social prescriber that this place is very noisy im not coping here
it’s really hard for me really and i really don’t have motivation at all
They council never received any letter from the person who knows me and knows that im really not coping here and this noise really affecting me
i said to this lady who does work in council that i was awarded pip and im having very deep depression anxiety and my neighbour is really noisy and i really got worse here0 -
Add your name to the housing register of your London borough - find their website. This is how to be accepted for social housing (social housing includes housing association properties as well as council).
You can do this, Agnia.

Most local authorities need to save money and can help you relocate out of London once your name is also on another housing register.
London noise upsets me too. Covering my ears helps. People are stressed for so many reasons.
