There's a full 3 month waiting period for the extra money and it's then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. Providing you continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on your WCA. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.Based on the limited information you gave your first payment will be either Sept or Oct. When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month, or what dates your assessment periods cover.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

LCWRA is part of UC so it will be paid in with your usual monthly amount. It will increase your maximum UC entitlement by £390.06/month.

It's an extra £390.06/month on top of what you usually receive. This is what it means when i advised it will increase your maximum UC entitlement.

Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be June to Sept...LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th Sept to 9th Oct and first payment is 16th Oct. No LCWRA element is owed. This is because it's not paid at all during the waiting period.
