SautéedI like that we have some sweet potato fans in the community.

SautéedI like sweet potato I must say.
Goes well in soups as a filler + taste improver.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Opinions are my own, such as mashed potato being bad. -
Sweet Potatoes ... tried one once ... was 'sweet' ...I've got a weird hang up that a savoury meal shouldn't be sweet at all ... no raisins in curry, no pineapple on pizza, no mint sauce with lamb if it's shop bought etc ...
eg. I make a satay sauce that uses 4 tbs of sugar but can't taste the sweetness so it's fine
Would it taste the same without ? Doubt it
Sweet and sour sauce ... just blows my mind, can't comprehend/ process it
People are right ... I'm weird ... -
Other (please comment and let us know)For the weight watchers sainsburys do low carb potatoes

I do eat normal spuds but only now and then. But i do eat sweet potato a few times a week because there good for diabetics

SautéedSee, I used to think the same about sweetness in a savoury dish, but sometimes it really goes together depending.
While they aren't "sweet" almonds make me think of sweet dishes, but putting scoop of ground almonds into a curry is delicious I've found. Really compliments the flavours.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

SautéedI'm all for sweet with spicy. I make a chilli con carne that will blow your head off, but I always put sugar and chocolate in it and serve it with soured cream.
But served with rice, not potatoes. :PAlbus (he/him)

RoastRoasties all the way! Although I'm also a big fan of some proper chip shop chips when they're cooked well. Chips in all forms are good, but proper chips wrapped in paper are the best.Rosie (she/her)

It has to be the go to food if you were stuck on 'desert island', so much versatility and variety of things you could make with potatoes. Must remember to keep a potato with me at all times.
