LCWRA is part of UC and increases your maximum entitlement by £390.06/month. This is payable from the 4th month after you first reported your health condition, supported by a fit note within 7 days of that. Providing you continued to send the fit notes without any gaps until the decision was made on your WCA.During the full 3 month assessment period waiting time, the extra money isn't paid at all. Based on the very limited information you gave, your first payment will be either Sept or Oct.The exact date will depend on what date exactly you reported your health condition/provided your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month. If you didn't previously have the work allowance then they will also owe you some money for this. Any money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.0

Thankyou for explaining this will it make a difference if i haven't had a payment from uc yet as i had been getting sick pay .0

That doesn't make a difference. As i advised you will also now have the work allowance. (assuming you didn't previously have this) It means you can receive a certain amount of earnings each month before the 55% deductions apply. You didn't answer the questions i asked here..poppy123456 said:The exact date will depend on what date exactly you reported your health condition/provided your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.
So i can't tell you exactly when the LCWRA element is paid from.If you haven't been receiving any payments from UC are you under 25? do you claim for help with any rent?0 -
