    That was kind of her, @durhamjaide2001 :)

    My housemate's dog made me smile today. Came in from a rainy walk looking like a drowned rat with a hilarious case of the zoomies.

    @66Mustang it's a Maoam one, so lots of sugar for me!

    @Grinchy I never usually get one, so it was a lovely surprise. But you're right, you're never too old to enjoy one.

    @durhamjaide2001I'm glad the nice admin folks helped you. :)

    @Rosie_Scope I love watching my dogs have after bath zoomies.

    Randomly met/spoke to a uni student at gym. Just happens....she's studying a MSc in Adult Acute Mental Health Nurse. She agreed to give me an insight into trauma and the discoloured world Agreed to meet for coffee and she gave me her number. Amazing!! (Still got the gift of the gab I guess!!!)!! Lol lol lol.

    It doesn't worry me if people are illegal immigrants or not. There is an old saying that I can't quite remember but it is along the lines of "you have got to walk so many steps in someone else's shoes to know their story."

       My daughter texting to ask if the monsters still bite your toes if you stick your feet out of the bottom of the duvet.... she's nearly 40 !!  But I still told her better to err on the side of caution to be safe, like a mother should 👍

    I'm in my 40s and the monster under the bed is still a real worry, so I understand your daughters concern there @vikingqueen

    For me, getting my one thousand comments badge on here has made me smile.  Hopefully some of those comments either helped someone, or made them smile. :)

    It's our one holiday this year so it's a bit of a long one. We're staying with my partners parents for 2 weeks in the States. Spending Thanksgiving there!

    @Jimm_Scope that's very cool :) where-abouts in the States?

    We have family in Brooklyn and they were very upset when a family member mixed it up and told someone they were from the Bronx. Apparently one is a rough area and one is a posh area?!

    Having seen Thanksgiving portrayed in films, I've frequently contemplated the real-life experience. Eagerly anticipating hearing about it when you return. Wishing you and your partner an enjoyable holiday!

    Brooklyn is lovely but I have never been to The Bronx. Tomorrow, Tuesday, I am going to Brighton just for the day. This will be a big deal for me. Since I became physically disabled in May 2016 I haven't been out of Central London. I am going to be on my mobility scooter and I have asked for assisted travel. I am dreaming of seeing the sea again, having a bottle of beer and some fish & chips. It may all end in disaster but it will give me something to do!

    @Steve_in_The_City

    Seeing the sea, enjoying some fish & chips, and sipping on a bottle of beer by the coast sounds like a wonderful plan.  The arranged assistance in your travel plans should offer the necessary aid, and I trust that everything proceeds seamlessly. Remember to wrap up warm, as the seafront can get quite cold during this time of year.  I am sure you will have an enjoyable time.

    Oh where are you going @Jimm_Scope and  @66Mustang? Anywhere exiting.

    The thing that made me smile is that I am going to be put through to LD services even though they aren't going to diognose me because I'm on the cusp.
